well you're half right. there have been since 1999, but as you can see, last year no cash prizes were given. there was no actual contest last year, its just a collection of christmas-themed flashes.

Actually I cancelled the contest last year because I was tired of people acting like dipshits after the Halloween contest.
We've had the contest for several years in the past, but it feels like a weird theme to base a contest on... Like I don't want to see THAT MANY Christmas movies, which is why more and more it's emphasized as a general winter-theme. But really we should just have a winter Flash-off with a different theme every year, or something.
