Hey yooz guyz. So I've had this Tumblr for a while now, and I haven't really known what to do with it. Well today I figured it out.

I'm about to take the plunge and begin Episode 3 of Villainy. I released a Halloween short a while back, and it did way better here on Newgrounds than it did on Youtube. It makes me happy to see that Newgrounds is still the best place to get exposure for your work, if you're an up-and-comer. There's so much chaos on YouTube, finding an audience can be damn near impossible. (On the other hand, god damn it, my YouTube channel's never gonna grow!)

I wrote a script for a New Years short with the intention of "holding people over until Episode 3 came out," but there's a major flaw in that logic. It would have taken a month to make that cartoon, and that would, then be another month that I put off actually working on Episode 3. So instead, I'm diving straight in. And that's where Tumblr comes in. I'm going to use it to document the process of creating Episode 3 from scratch. It will be a way for people to stay up-to-date on its progress, as well as learn how I go about doing this thing I do.

I've always wanted to do some kind of YouTube tutorial, but wasn't sure how to frame it. Anything I could teach about how to use Flash, or how to draw has already been done by someone else in a much better way. (For example, Harry Partridge's tutorials, or Jazza's channel.) So here it is. Wanna know how I make a cartoon? Wanna know why it takes me so friggin' long? Now you can.

About time you came back onto Newgrounds. Not that your work with Lyle wasn't funny, but so many people here missed Villainy. Or, at least, I did.

If I could devote 100% of my time to it, I would. It's life, man. It's that damn life of mine that gets in the way.

Missed ya, fella. Love pretty much all of your work, not just Villainy. I would certainly consider more off-the-wall stuff like Snowfall if it's not too much of a hassle on your end, there's all kinds of potential in that kinda thing.

You could use our new blog system to post development updates on NG while also posting on Tumblr, to cover both bases! I want to see more development stuff around here, how frequently do you think you'll be posting?

Also, it's never too late to make a Pokemon movie and score your 100k YouTube followers. I say that both jokingly and completely serious.

Oh, sure, I'll totally post the blogs here, too. I dunno why that didn't occur me. I guess because generally when I think of blog posts on Newgrounds, I think of front page posts (that's all I've ever done), and you can only do those once a week. I've already posted 2 on the Tumblr in the last couple of days. But that's just my warped perception of what constitutes a Newgrounds blog post. I'll start posting them here on Newgrounds, as well.

Also, I did my first sell-out Pokemon movie a couple months ago (It got front paged here on Newgrounds). It didn't take off on YouTube like I was hoping. Swing and a miss. I may try again with another one, but hot damn would I do it with a grimace on my face. I don't care for parody cartoons. I'll only make them because I have no use for dignity.
